As a textile design studio we aim working towards re-shaping the industry. In recent decades industry practices have often bypassed the integration of the design process rooted in textile and material knowledge, moving straight to mass production led in-house teams focused on the consumer based industry which we can clearly see the result off, socially and environmentally.
What’s missing is an independent link between the customer and production - a platform for customized, small-scale enterprises, and where ART can thrive. A different business model, that can eventually replace mass produce and preserve meaningful production practices that are both responsible and sustainable.
