DOES IT SPARK JOY? Learn to weave class Spring 2026
This class is a journey of transformation. You will be introduced into the ancient art of weaving, using floor and table looms, participants cut and repurpose secondhand clothes and textiles into vibrant woven creations. It’s about turning what no longer serves you into something meaningful and alive.
Here, you’ll discover the satisfaction of moving from an idea to a finished product, guided every step of the way. This practice is a mastering experience, as you will create an art piece with a function. you Decide what it will become into, a carpet, a bag, a pillow … .
The course will take place at the Ocean Weavery Studio in the small nearby village, here are floorlooms and table looms that we will use.
